Camera Lens
Privacy Policy
Effective July 24, 2026
Data collection
Camera Lens does not collect data. The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party software development kits. The developer does not operate a server that receives your photos, videos, settings, location, or personal information.
Camera and microphone
Camera access is used on your device to show the preview and capture photos or videos. Microphone access is used only when recording video with audio.
Photos
Photos access is used to save captures and, when you choose, browse recent items from your own photo library. Media remains on your device or in Apple Photos and iCloud according to your Apple account and system settings. Camera Lens does not upload media to the developer.
Location
Location access is optional. When enabled, an approximate current location may be added directly to the metadata of a photo or video you capture. It is not sent to the developer.
Settings
Camera preferences, including disabled physical camera identifiers and per-lens controls, are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to the developer.
Sharing
If you use the system share sheet, the destination you choose receives the item under that destination’s own privacy practices. Camera Lens does not select a destination or receive a copy.
